Latitude E6540 screen problem
We have a Latitude E6540 which has intermittent display problems - it becomes dlightly distorted and difficult to read, and then on some occasions it starts to go white, sometimes to the entent that the whole screen goes entirely white.
I tried updating drivers, which didn't work. I then replaced the screen cable as that seemed the most likely culprit, but still no improvement. We have noticed that sometimes pressing down on the top corner of the laptop makes the display go back to normal.
Anyone any ideas? Is it likely to be the graphics chip delaminating from the motherboard?
Thanks

Top left.
I've not had chance to run the diagnostics or connect a monitor when it's showing the issue - it's usually with a member of staff who works from home. The other issue with trying to run the diagnostics is that the problem usually disappears for a while anyway when it's rebooted.

Top left or top right? Top left would be the VGA board as shown in the owner's Manual page 35.
Attach an enternal monitor to the VGA port and test. Does the external monitor show the issues?
Run the LCD BIST (Built In Self Test).
