Latitude keyboard replacement
Can anybody tell me how much it would cost to have Dell replace my keyboard in my latitude notebook? The problem that I am having results from a glass of water being spilled on the keyboard. Now at random intervals the keyboard inputs incorrect characters. I have checked for viruses and there are none. My virus defs are up to date. I have run all utility programs in and out of Windows problems exist in DOS as well.

Whether or not the system is under warranty, a spill is not covered by the warranty. Certain fees will apply to repair the system, as of August 8, 2004:
If the motherboard was not damaged, then this fee will not apply.
