left click on touchpad gets stuck
frequently the left click on my laptop sticks so that it either drags whatever I am on around the screen or blocks sections of the screen
I am not sure if the pad is faulty, it is only two months old and has done it from new or if there are settings that need changing to stop it happening as I haven't had a touchpad before
I can't deliberately unstick it, until it decides of its own accord

The palmrest assembly needs to be replaced - if you post the system model, someone can point you to the correct part. Or, if the system is under warranty, call Dell and have the assembly replaced under warranty.
