M6500 missing drivers

Question

I just got a Dell M6500 and I installed Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I can not find a driver that will work for the Broadcom USH ( fingerprint reader) and for the Mass storage controller. Also can not see the second hard drive although it shows up in device manager.

I read that someone said to use the Vista 64 bit driver for the USH but that would not install.

Does anyone know where a person can get the drivers for these?

Those links are from the support website.Install the Chipset driver first and than try the finger printer reader driver. Where is the second HDD not getting detected?

Those drivers worked. Don't know why they were not displayed in the M6500 driver list. Thanks for the help.

Hi Oregon,

Welcome to the Community,

Have you tried the drivers from Dell support website? To get the drivers for your system go to www.support.dell.com,click on Drivers and Downloads,enter system service tag number or select Choose from list of Dell products(choose your system model),select Operating System.

For the Mass storage controller install the Chipset drivers :

www.dell.com/.../precision-m6500

For Broadcom USH ( fingerprint reader) install the Control Vault driver : www.dell.com/.../precision-m6500

The second HDD,is that the mSata HDD?

Yes I tried the drivers off the Dell Support site. The Windows 7 Pro 64bit and the Vista 64bit would not work. The second drive is the Sata drive. Thanks for the help.
