My Laptop Crashed
I haven a dell inspiron/b130 i was on the net when i started hearing the pac-man song i stopped cleared my screen started it up again the sound came back so i went to system restore and thats when the screen went blank tried to start it went to the dell logo then went blank i dont have a windowxp backup disk took it to get checked and was told without it my laptop is useless so what happened to my laptop and what do i do?

See if you can get to the Dell diagnostics (F12 at powerup). If you can, run a full hard drive diagnostic.
If you cannot, start by reseating all the removeable components - memory, hard drive, battery. Reset the CMOS (remove the battery, unplug and hold the power button for 30 seconds). Apply power and see if it'll boot.
If it won't remove the hard drive and try again.

I did that but still nothing where can i find a windowsxp disc because thats the only program that will run in my laptop and they are hard to find?
