My laptop's junction area got broken.

I bought my Inspiron 1525 in Sep. or Oct. in 2008 and my 1 year warranty has been used.

But a couple weeks ago, I don't know how exactly it happened, but the junction area got broken and the 2 nails came out.

I don't know if I should just take it to the local computer repair shop, I don't know how much it'd be, or I should do something with Dell first, but I'm in Ann Arbor, MI and we don't seem to have any Dell store near here.

It bothers me to carry it around like this when I have to be careful when I open my monitor(or lid) of the laptop and when I close it.

Do you have any idea? What should I do?
