I have a similar problem. My Music Stage no longer works (after less than two weeks!), It starts to open, then hangs and I just get a black screen.
Weirdly, when I phoned through to Dell Customer Service and the woman I spoke to signed into my computer to check the problem, it opened fine for her every time. But once she was signed out again, it didn't work and I just got the black screen again??
She did give me this link for the place where all the downloads are stored, and that had all the different software on it that you would have had inititally: . https://smartsource.dell.com so perhaps uninstalling and re-installing might help?
thanks for the link but there is no photostage? I have music and video stage but no link for photo stage if you can give me a link or upload it i would make my week. thanks so much ROBYNDEMELZA..
Oh, sorry, I thought I saw it in the list.. sorry! I did find the company that wrote the software though - http://www.arcsoft.com maybe they can help you??
I have the same problem, spent EIGHT hours w/Dell support. Still not resolved. Product is discontinued, so do not expect a reply. You can go tp bilo.com & download Bilo, also photostage. I am trying to download installed software indiviually, if I succee I'll let you know.d
Dell Stage is set up by default to open once the Duo has been moved to Tablet mode. If Stage is not coming up, launch It manually click the settings icon, it looks like a gear. Then make sure that "Show duo Stage when entering tablet mode is checked.
The following link brings up the Duo user's manual. From there you can learn more about the applications included with Stage.
