No Audio

I just ordered these Bose speakers for my Precision 7710. They do not work but when I go into the dell Audio and test them. They work great, so what's going on here? I just got this laptop a couple days ago and still haven't got the audio to work? But they will both work in Dell Audio for some reason.

Go to the Windows Sound properties dialog and make sure that "Speakers" is the default device on the Playback tab. Something like this:

If doing that does not help, then reinstall the Realtek audio driver for the Precision 7710 -- if you have Windows 7, 8.1, or 10.

Only my USB headset I can hear sound.

The laptop's internal speakers are working okay, or not?

Hello. Sorry for the delay in answering.

Need some more information please.

still haven't got the audio to work

Are you saying that none of the audio works, or just the Bose speakers do not work?

There the Bose Computer Music Monitor.

They plug into the headphone jack. The headphones have not worked either. Only my USB headset I can hear sound.
