Onsite warranty

Hi,
An agent of dell tell me that my laptop has a Onsite warranty, but I'm not sure about that. Do you know how can I check it. I see only that I have a 1 year Limited Warranty.
Thank,
Vntoru

I did it, but the only thing I see is "Limited Warranty". I see nothing saying that I have an in site warranty or not. Can you tell me how I can check that.
Thanks

He already told you the only way to check it. But of course you can call tech support or customer care and ask them to check it for you. If the tech you spoke to said you have onsite service then tell them to send someone out and fix your problem. More than likely if you don't have onsite warranty it will get picked up down the line and NO tech will come. If the website says you have a limited warranty then I suspect the tech you originally spoke with was wrong.

I have also another question on Transfering the warranty. I will leave the US for Canada soon, do you know if dell Offer the warranty transfering from US to Canada?. I have sent a request but I have not received the answer. In addition, in the statistic of completion time for processing warranty transfering, I do not see the time for US to Canada

Yes, you can transfer the warranty to Canada.  Warranty transfers take up to 30 days, although usually a lot less.  http://www1.us.dell.com/content/topics/reftopic.aspx/pub/ccare/transfer_intl?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

Maybe I don't know what does it means the description of the warranty. On service contacts & warranty I see that:

Initial Next Business Day    BSC     7/19/2005      7/19/2006354

Limited Technical Support   DELL   7/19/2005     7/19/2006354

Technical Support - Phone Assistance--    7/19/2005   7/19/2006354

Does that means I have onsite warranty?.

Yes the "Initial Next Business Day" is OnSite. The numbers are the date it ends (7/19/2006) and the days left on the warranty (354).
