Will I be able to install XP Home or Professional on my Inspiron 7000?

yes you can but you should have at least 128MB of RAM. 256 or 512MB of RAM would be better!

Additionally, before you try installing you will need to go into BIOS and set the screen for LCD or else you install will fail.
