Overheating. Is there a fix?

I have the exact same problem when playing World of Warcraft, I'm sure you have all your graphic setting on lowest right? Also you can try to elevate the bottom of the notebook, or take solutions to bring down the room temperature. However none of the above worked for me. Would appreciate it if somebody can come up with a good cooling solution. Thanks.

I have had this same problem....and I have a cooling pad on my 600m too.  While perusing this site, I have heard that the overheating problem in the 600m is a design flaw, that Dell has no intention of fixing for us.  Guess we're just out of luck.

i'm running FEAR on mostly medium settings (some are lowest). i'm using the lastest ATI drivers (modified desktop drivers). cooling pad just helps alittle. the only solution that i can think of is using an ice pack or two. i have not tried it, but i am sure that i will work and i am planning on trying it.
