PCMCIA

My pcmcia slots aren't working. I recently reformatted, and now the pcmcia slots have a little exclamation mark next to them in device manager.  I tried to update drivers, but it says it can't start the device and that there's a start code (10).  I don't know what this means.  Does anyone else know?  It recognizes the cardbus, it just wont start for some reason or another.

Dell c600

p3 750mhz 128mb ram 30gb HDD

Latest Bios Version A23.

I don't know where to get the latest firmwares for the pcmcia slots. I looked for them in the drivers section of dell support, but no luck.

have you tried removing the listed device that has the yellow exclamation mark

then running the installer for the driver?

i looked for a driver install program, but i have yet to find one.  Other than that, i believe i read somewhere that xp should have drivers that work for it already.

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

That is what it says in device status in the properties of the pcmcia slots in device manager.  This shows that it is connected properly because it's reading it, but i don't know what's going on.  No power is going to the pcmcia devices.
