Photoshop error: "Could not complete your request because the file format module cannot parse the file."
Using updated CS6 (preferences deleted/reset), ACR and PT GUI on a new Dell 17R SE 7720 laptop running Win 7.
The identical software on an older AMD desktop does not have this problem.
Pans are stitched from 16 bit tif files generated by ACR. Help!

This happens when the files extension has been changed. Only solution I've seen is to open the file in Paint and save the file appending two numbers on the end e.g Untitled11.png. The file should now open in PS
