plug 4 headphones

Hello..i have a laptop and i'm now not able to use my speakers or headphones in the jack on the side of the machine..somehow it got pushed in and needs replacing! does anyone know if it's something i'm able to fix myself? also to replace this part is it necessary to remove the entire rear panel? or does it slip out easily as some other parts do?   Thank You.

For these kinds of questions you need be sure and indicate what model laptop you are referring to.  In general, the headphone sockets are not user replaceable unless you are a computer tech and have all the soldering equipment to remove and replace these components.
