"plugged in, not charging"
My lap top battery icon says "plugged in, not charging". I checked the system and it says "battery life: moderate" and it recognizes the power adapter. It is down to 4% and Im afraid it is going to die for good! Also, it completely shuts off whenever I take the adaptor out. HELP!

It is possible that charging the battery is disabled. Hit the F3 key on your laptop (it may have a icon on it that looks like a AA battery), and if a battery meter display pops up on the screen, switch to the "battery life" tab, and make sure that "Disable battery charging" is not checked on.

Hi the issue is the battery cause cant hold the charge without the ac adapter and is not charging completely, in this case the battery must be replaced or using the laptop with the ac adapter always plugged in. Regards
