I have 2 Dell Laptops, one is an Inspiron 9300, the other is a Latitude D420. The wall wart for the D420 has a damaged cord and when plugged in the laptop says "Plugged in, not charging". I realize that this could likely indicate a problem with the motherboard (or other) but would like to try using the Power adapter from my 9300 to eliminate that as a culprit. There is a slight difference in the outputs, however, and I would like to know if I can do so. The Inspiron's is a 90W unit with output listed as 19.5V 4.62A, The D420's is a 65W unit with output of 19.5V 3.34A. Can I do this? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for  your time.
