press and hold the FN key and use the arrow key to adjust the brightness of the display. It is normal for the display to dim on batter unless you set it to your preference

yes I know that and It was working normal before but now the display dim and when I press FN and the arrow key no change happen.
any help? Is this a problem in the battary or what?
