problem with inspiron 17R 5721
hello.the last 7 days or so,when i try to power up my laptop,it does not open,instead it does a BEEP-pause for 1 second-BEEP-pause-BEEP and so on,while screen is black.After i have shutted down from the power button for 2-6 times,it finally opens.Any suggestions?

If you can run the Diagnostics, run the tests to evaluate the hardware.

i run the diagnostics through the site,and everything passed.From what i read from the manual,it seems i have the first problem beep code 1-possible system board failure-BIOS ROM checksum failure.Any ideas?

That means you'll need to replace the system board.
