Problems with Sony USB Driver

Hello,

I wanted to install my Sony USB drivers to get Memory Stick pictures into my machine.
When trying to do this the installation program aborts every time and nothing happens.
I installed the driver on another machine with WIN98 without any problems.

I also tried deinstalling the USB devices and drivers but no luck either.

Could anybody help?

Thank you

Manuel

I had a similar problem 6 months ago when installing the DSC P1 driver under Windows Me. I worked round the problem by copy the relevant drivers from a Windows 98 machine.

However, I think the problem has been resolved by new driver software. Take a look at:

Trust this helps.

John,

thank you very much.

Worked great! Seems we had another Software problem with WinME or the Sony Driver. Us I used the driver fpr my PC110 Handycam which were quite new I think this is a WinME problem.
So we can put this on the list together with some 50.000 other bugs...

Thanks once again

Manuel

Hello once again,

not really everything is fine.. I think my camera needs more drivers and WinMe is demanding USBNTMAP.SYS and USBSTOR.SYS when installing the second USB device that is needed for my Handycam.

Any help where I could get these?

Thank you once again
