Quickset Hot Keys
Just bought a new Dell XPS 15z. Love the computer, but none of the quickset hotkeys work. Tried to re-install but the version on the computer is higher than the version online or on the support CD shipped with the system. Anyone else having this problem?

You will have a folder called C:\Drivers or a folder called C:\Dell\Drivers on your hard drive.
Search in these folders for a setup file (starting from the highest number first and working your way down) for a Dell Quickset Icon.
Should contain icons such as these. Once you have located the folder take note of the Rxxxxxx no.
Then go to computer>Uninstall or Change a Program (Uninstall Dell Quickset). Reboot. Reinstall by clicking the Setup file from this folder.

Thank you for the info, but it did not work. Quickset keys are still not operational and my version was downgraded to 11.0.11. I think I am stuck till the next version of the application appears

No wait... I am just a complete idiot that has not owned a windows machine in some time. If I hold down the function key, the quickset keys work just fine.

Yeah you hold down Fn and then press it, I think the icons are in blue to remind you to do that.
