Random Freezes/ Program Crashing
So I've been having this problem for quite some time now. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Here's the problem: Sometimes when I'm using my laptop for either a long or a short period of time all the sounds start to crash and every program that makes a sound starts to crash. I don't know if there's something wrong with my hardware or whatever. Sometimes these random crashes happen right when I start up my laptop. Usually restarting my laptop helps the problem but I don't want to keep doing that; and also during the process of it being restarted, it says "Waiting for the following programs to close: Explorer.exe" and it wont close at all UNLESS I hit the "Force Restart" option.
If someone can give me any tip(s) and/ or advices on how to solve this problem, I would very much appreciate it!
Please and thank you!
Specs:
-Dell Studio 1558
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M370 @ 2.40GHz
-3.00 GB Ram
-Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Hi, the crashes or blue screen and suddenly shutdown related to explorer.exe could be related by a process that is causing issues with the Windows OS, try to uninstall any software recently installed of a third party software could be runned for check registry issues or startup programs running on the background, at the end the best solution is a full Windows Reinstallation with the disk.
