Repair?

Question

I'm having issues with my charging port... it's flimsy and it always flickers between charging and not charging. If I send it in for repair, does it go to Malaysia? About how long would I be without my laptop?   Thanks in advance for any help and I apologize if this was posted on the wrong board.

You have to contact Dell and troubleshoot with them. If it is under warranty and they determine it needs service and you have mail in service, they will send a box and pick it up. It will be serviced in the U.S. and take 1 week or so from the time it leaves your house, ASSUMING the parts are in stock.

I only had the basic 90-day warranty. Does that cover everything?? I didn't do any damage and I've seen posts from people with the same issues but never heard of the resolutions.   I was nervous thinking I'd have to ship to Malaysia and be without my laptop for a month.   Thanks for the info guys. :D

If you're in the US, the repair is done in the US. The turnaround should be about a week.
