Replacement HDMI port

Hi there,

I have a Dell Inspiron 7720 laptop that has been great for a few years now. I always use the HDMI port but recently it has stopped working. If i move the cable around in the port it comes on for a brief second but then goes off. I have tested the cable on a different computer and it works fine but also tried a different cable just to be sure. 

Seems to me that the HDMI port must have failed or be failing, what would you recommend me doing considering my laptop isn't in warranty anymore?
