Service tag replacement

I have a Dell 7720 where the service tag sticker is now blank :(

I understand that in the event of a warranty claim, the technician will be able to verify the service tag using the BIOS, however, if the laptop goes into an unbootable mode, how will warranty service happen?

Since the laptop is under a complete cover warranty, can the service tag be replaced as a warranty service?

Right now the laptop is working fine, so the technicial can check and place the correct service tag sticker. Then if there is any problem, during repair the sticker can be checked

They will not replace this.  Write down the tag in bios and keep track of your receipt and or customer order number. The warranty doesn't cover lost service tag label or COA windows label.

Thanks, I do have the service tag written down. I also have a photo of the label :)

Just wanted to know if there will be issues claiming warranty without the sticker on the machine if the technician cannot boot into the machine and I dont have the sticker on the machine either.

Another way to remember is to create an account on Dell.com website and then add the service tag to your account. Then if you ever need it, it will be online and you can use it on the support website.
