SigmaTel C-Major Audio
I have just bought a Inspiron 1100 which I am very pleased with except to the sound quality. The sound card is a SigmTel C-Major Audio,
Driver stac97.sys 6.14.1.3794 dated 25th April 2003.
I have looked on the advanced controls and the Bass and Treble controls are greyed out.
Can I do anything to improve the sound quality, I have looked for a updated driver but there doesn't seem to be one.
Hope someone can help or I will have to go back to my Desktop and the excellent Sound Blaster system.

Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.
Unfortunately, as far as I know, you can’t adjust the Bass or Treble on that card.

Hi Corey!
I know this is not your responsibility, but you may use your connection to inform Dell"s programs writers about this, if we can't adjust the treble or bass, then why bother to put them there then grayed them out.
