Standby and Hybernation Problems

My 5160 will not go into standby or hybernation mode anymore. I have not changed any settings. There shouldn't be any programs running in the background either. What can I do?

Did you recently install Service Pack 2 on Windows XP?

No. I went ahead and updated the BIOS and reinstalled the video card. THe video card did it. It is good now. Thanks!

Good deal. My Inspiron 8500 had these same issues after I installed SP2 last week. After getting the latest BIOS, mine worked well also.
