Stolen Laptop
Hi Everyone
I had my Dell laptop stolen last week, is there any chance DELL can find it?? It was a refurbished one, so I hadn't even used it, it never found it's way to my front door.

I didnt purchase it through dell, I purchased through graysonline a auction site
I have the serial number for the laptop, but so would everyone that viewed the listing.
If I call dell to advise the serial number what can they do?

Hi
Please call Dell Customer Care for your region immediately and report the system as stolen. You will be asked for certain details to verify the purchase.

They will put the system on a list so that if support is contacted, the authorities can be notified.
They cannot assist you in locating your notebook - that is a job for your local law enforcement personnel.
