It would seem I am having alot of trouble running John Woo's Stranglehold on my M1710. Right from the main menu the video constantly stutters every few seconds preventing me from playing the game. I don't understand as COD4 and Crysis play well wiTth good settings, yet with this game changing the settings doesnt make any difference.

 

Ive tried different display drivers and Direct X versions but the problem remains, has anyone with a M1710 manged to get it working.

 

Machine Specs:

 

Centrino Duo T2600 @ 2.16Ghz

3GB RAM

WIN XP SP2

Nvidia 7900GTX (512mb)

Display Driver - 8.4.6.3 down from 8.4.6.4

Direct X 9.0c

 

Any help would be appriciated!
