Studio 14z touchpad button tactile feedback inaccurate

Unlike with my previous Dell laptops, I often get "missed clicks" when I'm using the left touchpad button on my Studio 14z/1440.   This is due to the fact that it's possible to get a mechanical "click" feeling out of the button without having the click actually register if you don't press hard enough.  I installed a little program called NoisyMouse to get some audible feedback so I know when it's clicked and when it's not.  Also, simply pressing a little harder seems to take care of it, but it's pretty annoying.

Is this just a characteristic of the touchpad buttons on the 14z or is mine a little bit  "special"?

No, mine is doing the same thing but I'm also having some adjusting issues from my xps where I can clearly feel the touchpads edges to the alps touchpad on the studio 1440 where the edges aren't that easy to feel if your skin is a bit thicker... Also having some really annoying freezing and bsod lately but that's for another thread.

I'm having a similar experience too. But I guess, I can live with that, tapping on the touchpad also acts as left click and i hope to get used to that.
