Studio 1558 Bluetooth Audio Crackling

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows of issues (and hopefully fixes!) with the bluetooth stack/drivers etc with the Studio 1558. I've only had the laptop a few days and apart from this problem it's absolutely superb so it's a little annoying that I can't figure out what's happening. Basically, I have a Logitech Z-500 bluetooth speaker and a little bluetooth dongle made by CSR (I think). On my old laptop, a Acer Aspire, I had it running perfectly with the Bluesoliel bluetooth app which came with the dongle. Since Bluesoleil is the equivalent of rape to buy, and I don't have the disk anymore, I thought I'd use the windows stack to connect. While it connects fine, after 5 or 10 minutes of playback the audio starts crackling. I've tried moving the laptop closer to the speaker, moving the dongle to different ports, unplugging the charger for both the speaker and the laptop - all to no avail. I then thought it could be software related so I've updated everything I can to the newest version and paired and unpaired a few times. If anyone else has had an issue with this or knows what the problem might be any help is much appreciated. I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit if that helps at all.

Sorry if this has been covered already, I searched but couldn't find anything. And thanks in advance!

Edit: I forgot to mention that it's not just limited to one program, I noticed it through iTunes but it also does it in VLC. It doesn't seem to be affected by the pitch of the music either - well not that my ears can tell anyway!
