system shut down from bios
Hello. I have a latitude C 600, and i got myself in the bios & tampered with the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd boot disk, i thought i knew what i was doing at the time, then it said changes will take effect after rebooting. so i shut it down to reboot the system & now it does absolutely nothing, won't even light up! i've tryed everything from disconnecting the cmos battery, to removing the hard drive for 24 hrs too, but nothing seem's to work. There has got to be a way to get into those bios to reverse my mistake i hope, can i connect my laptop to my desktop, i'm willing to try anything.

Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.
Changing your boot order should not cause the system not to boot.
Try this: take your system off the docking station if you have one. Then take out all peripherals like printers, scanners, mice, keyboards, pc cards, and any other 3rd party devices you have added. Also, take out the battery and disconnect the ac adaptor and wait for 2min. then add only the ac adaptor back on, and try to boot.
When you try to boot at this point (after doing the above) do you get any lights, does the system make any noise?
