There is a red light blinking....

There's a red light blinking on my notebook. It's the third light from the left on the left side of my notebook. Why is this blinking? It only started a few days ago and blinks even when the laptop is off.
Whatis this??? I'm worried that my computer will die soon. HELP! Thanks!

Does it have a picture of a battery next to it?

The battery charge LED will flash Amber (Some people say red) if there is a problem with the battery.

Model of your computer, operating system, and details of EXACTLY whick LED and where it is located will get more exact answers

My laptop is an Inspiron B130 and the light is on the laptop itself. It's powered up and I'm not having problems with the battery life (that I can see anyway). Operating %)(^%^@# MS Vista. By the way, I never had this problem BEFORE installing that darn Vista.

The light is located on the left front...third light from the left. Even when the laptop is powered down, the light continues to blink.

Thanks!!!
