touchpad and windows 7
i recently upgraded my precision M6500 to windows 7 from xp pro. I need to turn off my touch pad as i keep touching it when i type. Any idea how to do that or at least set the touch sensitivity very low.

Hi ggipson,
I request you to go to the control panel and select mouse. You would then see a dialog box for the mouse settings. Please select touchpad settings and reduce the sensitivity.
I hope you find this useful.
Please reply for any queries.
Thanks and Regards

The touchpad on my inspiron n5030, 64 bit with windows 7 suddenly stiopped working. I downloaded alps drivers from the dell site but the touchpad doesn't show up in the devices list. Only the mouse does - when I plug it in. I would like to get the touch pad working again. Please help.
