TV-Out Not Working!!!

I have a c600 dell latitude with a mobility m3 8mb display adpater, and ive had for a couple of years now and the tv-out has always worked. The other it just stopped working...when i connect it to  my tv...well its always connected...and when i turned on the tv it was fuzzy black and white and the destop shaking. I cant see the desktop..can't do anything. First thing i did was turned off my tv-out in my display settings and turned them back on. Nothing. Then i reconnected the tried other video out wires. Nothin. Turned the tv on and off. Nothin.Restarted. Nothing.Uninstalled and reinstalled latest video drivers. Nothing. I really dont have any idea why this would happen all of a sudden. Can anyone out there help me out.

Thanks

grab a dvd player or a VHS player and check to see if you can get a video signal from the s-video out of those...if no picture sounds like the s-video tuner circuit on the tv has died.

My labtop has an s-video connection and i have a small converter that came with the labtop so i can connect a regular yellow-white-red wires to the labtop and i connect the other end to the tv. What im sayin is i know its not the tv cause i can play a dvd player on it. I've tried a new converter and it still dont work. Have any other ideas???

Have you tried pressing Fn+F8 to toggle your video output?

Thats not the problem. I can toggle it by (fn+f8) or going to display properties. The probem is the way it displays on tv. Its black and fuzzy..i wish i can take a screenshot but when i do its just all black. Its black and white(not meaning its black and white like theres no color) its really blakc and white and i can kinda see the desktop..but its shaking.
