Upgrading Alienware m17x r4 laptop GPU
Hey guys,
Firstly the specs;
Processor: Intel(R) core(TM) i7 - 3740 QM CPU @ 2.70Ghz, Ram - 32.0 GB, Graphics cards - Integrated Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 and AMD Radeon HD 7970M
i've been looking into upgrading my graphics card (Radeon one) to something like a Radeon R9 390 (8gb) or something and wondering if its possible etc and where would be the best place to buy it?

It's a standard MXM video card for notebooks -- you can call Alienware/Dell for a price (ask for Spare Parts) or try one of the resellers of Clevo-built "boutique" notebooks -- Sager, AVA Direct, Eurocom, etc. -- they are the largest manufacturer of video cards in this format.

If you search, you'll find some who upgraded to it -- that said, be prepared for the cost (it's upward of $1,000).
