Upgrading video card

How can i upgrade the video card in my D800?  want better performance...

It depends on the card you have now. The two top cards are the 128M nVidia 5650 (offered in the D800) and the 128M ATI 9600 Pro Turbo (offered in the Inspiron 8600). Both are proprietary parts - they're old enough that Dell may not have them now; you can try EBay or a Dell parts reseller:

the D800 currently has a NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200...is it easy to replace the video card in the Dell laptop system?

If you have the right video card part it's very easy. The video card is usually the top card on the pile when you remove the keyboard and the metal shield. I replaced mine on my 8100 and it came out fine.
