USB stick in boot menu.

Hi

I want to boot on my USB stick but its recognized as a removable drive in the boot menu of my dell mini 10. Therefore when I hit enter to boot on it, nothing happens: black screen and auto-reboot a few minutes later. I guess that selecting removable device implies the USB alimentation to be shut down: that's why it cant boot on it. Does someone have a clue of what I could do to make my USB stick be recognized as so?

Cheers

Your USB boot stick actually has to be bootable. What do you have on it that makes you think it is?????

Perhaps you should follow the Moblin instructions of how to boot off USB drive instead of going out on your own using Unetbootin.
