DELL--Please explain the process usb devices use to wake system fm standby.

I have a D430 and an M6300 side by side with USB wake support enabled on

one and Off on the other.  Neither will wake when the usb mouse is moved.

Is it that the mouse properties have to be configured first to allow it to wake?
