User Manual
I do not know where to post this but I have purchased the Dell Precision M4600 Laptop. I have been looking for the User Manual (NOT the Service Manual) with no luck. Does anyone know where I can download this manual in PDF format? All the owners manuals I have found are actually Service manuals..
Also, does anyone know where I can get an original CD that came with the computer? Thank you for your input

Hi Duane,
Here is the online version of the User's Manual for that model. It does appear to double as a service manual. Not sure there is a separate user manual, per se. There is a Setup and Features Guide as well. Is that more of what you're looking for?
As for the original CD, do you mean the Windows installation discs? Or do you mean the Drivers and Utilities discs? All the drivers and utilities are downloadable from http://www.dell.com/support. If you want the Windows CD you may need to contact Dell Tech Support directly.
Let me know which CD you're referring to and I'll see if I can better direct you where you need to go.

Thank you for your reply. I did find the manuals you suggested but I am looking for something that explains the different parts of the M4600 and what the Fn keys do. The CD I am looking for is the one that came with the computer thinking it would have the pdf manual file I am looking for.
The previous computer I had included a users guide that explained all the workings of the computer. Is there something like this available?

As far as I know the pdf versions online are the only ones available with that system.
