Using both cores?

I have a Latitude D630 with Core 2 Duo. On the Performance tab in Task Manager I am only seeing one processor graph. I checked the BIOS and the setting is enabled for duel core. When I click View > CPU History the option One Graph per CPU is grayed out. Is there another way I can verify if both cores are active and being used?

Check you have the correct HAL loaded, Control panel > system > Hardware tab > Device manager.

Look for an entry near the top called computer, open that and it should read ACPI Multiprocessor PC. If it reads Uniprocessor. Then the wrong HAL is loaded. Then try updated the driver.

It does read ACPI. I guess it is the right one, I am just used to seeing multiple graphs on multi-core systems.
