Check you have the correct HAL loaded, Control panel > system > Hardware tab > Device manager.
Look for an entry near the top called computer, open that and it should read ACPI Multiprocessor PC. If it reads Uniprocessor. Then the wrong HAL is loaded. Then try updated the driver.
