VIDEO GAMES
So I recently took an interest into video gaming for the PC, and since I have the Dell Inspiron N5010, it can handle anything, EXCEPT it overheats and power down. I looked into it, and the requirements that are failing are the "3.0 Pixel Shader version" and the "3.0 Vertex Shader version" and I have the 4.0 for both. Why can't I run it? It surpasses the Minimum requirements, and the recommended. So why does my Laptop overheat and shuts down? Can anyone help to explain? I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah, I had GEEK squad clean the interior. But it still heats up. There's nothing blocking the air ventilation, I basically have my laptop hanging by ropes.

A heatsink coated in dust is a prime suspect.

Next step would be to replace the thermal pad between the heatsink on the CPU and GPU.
