Viewing Pictures

Question

I am not sure if this is the right forum, but I used to be able to go into my pictures and I would have little thumbnails of the pictures now all I have is a icon and when you click on it it opens my picture editing program. How do I fix this so that I can see my pictures without having to open each one of them?

Hi,

Welcome to the Community. Open the folder in which the pictures are saved. Hold down ALT and press F, this should open up a file menu on top of the window, click on view, and set it to your choice ( large icons, details, tiles ).

Additionally to Dell Royans' suggestion:

If you want Windows Photo Viewer(for instance) to open instead of your picture editing program when doubleclicking a picture file you need to set it as your default program.

bikerangel4860,   Go to your picture folder. Click on the more options arrow in the top right corner.   Then click on the top section to change it. I use Largge icons.   Rick
