Vostro 1720 graphics card
I've been having a problem where the new laptop refuses to do a dual display on my 2407-WFP-HC monitor. I can have the display either on my laptop or (if monitor is connected at start-up) on the 2407-WFP-HC. If I open the control panel "Performance Information and Tools" option the subscores are 6.1 for Processor and Memory but only 1.0 for Graphics (details below) - should the score be so low or do I have a faulty card? Thanks

Problem solved for any poor soul waiting in vain for Dell support. I entered the service tag on the support page and amongst the recommended updates were nvidia drivers. I couldn't tell that I had an nvidia graphics card from looking at the device manager but installing these worked. The dual monitor option appeared in the display settings. The Performance Information and Tools in control panel then needed to be refreshed. After running through the tests, my new Graphics score is 6.3 - very happy!
