Vostro 3500 WIFI problem (Win 7 64-bit)

Hello

I have a problem with WIFI device driver. But in device manager all looks OK. All drivers I have downloaded from dell.com for laptop Vostro 3500 (Win 7 64-bit).

The problem in next:

1. go to Network connections and see Bluetooth is enabled, Local Area enabled, Wireless disabled and cannot be enabled(I have tried):

2. when I have opened diagnostic for Wireless Network I had this:

Sorry for my poor english. Please help me to solve this problem.

Hi All

I found a solution, maybe will be helpfull for someone:

Step by step what I did:

1) Downloaded utility Everest (http://www.lavalys.com/) for know name of my wireless card. (not necessarily if you are know)

2) Downloaded driver (not from dell.com) it must be not executable package but must be ZIP or RAR file.

3) Unzip driver.

4) Go to "Device manager" -> found my unknow "Network device" - > Install driver from folder which is my downloaded driver.

And then it solved my problem!

Is there a switch on the laptop for the wireless that you might have inadvertently turned off?

No. On the laptop it is on. And indicator on the laptop is light

I have got an Inspiron 1545.My System was shipped with a Dell "Windows Mobility Software"-utility which is somewhere buried within other Dell utilities.Look out for a file quickset.exe.I reinstalled my system from scratch as soon as I received my system a couple of months ago-I cannot tell you exactly where to find it on your system.

Anyway: For some reasons I do not know my wireless card was disabled eventhough my "software"-switch (usually in connection with Functionkey "F2" )was enabled..When I finally checked the Quickset(Mobilitycenter) I realised that it was disabled despite the fact wireless-switch(F2) was enabled .just make sure wireless is enabled within the Mobilitycenter.But should it be enabled and you still have problems then disable it and re-enable it again !!!!! This sound weird but I guess that 2 or 3 different programs have access to the wireless card and confuse each other.... just guessing.It works on my machine and I pinned the program to my taskbar as it happens every now and then(not often but it's handy to check the status of my wireless card and other stuff).

After I clicking on the checkbox and button "Ok", and again go to the same form. Settings not applyed.
