wake on lan, or usb?
Hi,
It seems my laptop (Inspiron N5050, bios A05) does not support Wake On Lan.
Is this correct?
It does have a 'wake on USB' option, but how can you use this?
I enabled this option in the BIOS.
Tried clicking an installed wireless mouse on this system while power was off, but it doesn't respond.
Also reconnecting the nanoplug doesn't help.
Anyone?
thnks
Hans

Hi thepaddo
On Inspiron N5050 wake on LAN option is not available.
The Wake on USB option is used to resume the computer from the sleep mode using USB device. To help you further I would like to know if you are looking at using some USB device to wake your computer from sleep mode. If yes, kindly let me know which device you would like to use.
Thanks and Regards,
Sujatha K
