Will not power on
I have a E1505 laptop that will not power on. When I push the power button there are three lights next to the media direct button and one on the right top that blink for a split second. I hear no HD activity just the flashing led lights.
I tested it with a new battery so I know it is not the ac charger causing this. I am guessing that the motherboard is toast. Any thoughts here on this. Tom

I would agree, sounds like a bad motherboard.

You might want to try reseating the memory modules - remove and reinstall. Then try starting again.

I checked and reseated the ram when I first tried to start the laptop. It did no good. I will head to ebay and see if I can find a board. Thanks. Tom
