Wireless 360 Bluetooth and Interlink VP6600R Bluetooth remote

Question

I have the new wireless 360 card in my inspiron e1705 and am trying to set up my bluetooth remote interlink vp6600r, however, it always comes up as registration failed....how can I fix this??

Did you hold down the volume up and volume down buttons for 3 seconds?...Were you able to start the set up for it in bluetooth at all?...If not then the driver you have for the bluetooth card does not recognize the interlink bluetooth remote.I have the BT 355 module and it worked first time setting it up,i did not know the BT 360 module was compatable with the E1705?...If all else fails go to interlinks site and try and find a driver.

I'll try to look around and maybe contact dell support and see what they come up with....thanks for the help.  PS...how did you get 4GB of ram to work on an E1705 (thought it was only 2GB max)?  And where can I get the RAM?

Yeah I just ordered 2 2GB sticks w/heatspreaders....currents specs of my system:  T7600 2.33ghz 2GB ram nvidia 7950 GTX 512MB DDR3 200GB 7200RPM hard drive 8x dvd burner winxp mce intel 4965 AGN wireless card.....

Dell only tests the ram in the laptop up to 2gb,not 4gb.I bought my geil for $150.00 with liftime warranty.Right now dell has a deal on 2gb sticks of OCZ ram for $42.99 and you would get 4gb for $85.98,which is not bad.By the way this geil ram rocks along with the gold heat spreaders.

I, too, ordered some Giel ram from newegg....will be pushing my E1705 to it's limits I think....basically an XPS now.....

Upgraded to the 4gb of ram geil w/ heatspreaders....only reading 3 and a quarter gig ram though....does yours read all 4 gigs?
