Wireless Network Connection

Hello, i've been having trouble with my wireless network connection. I've used it before a few months back it was working fine. Then i had only been using the actual broadband cable to access the internet for a while. So i got a new Wireless router and tried to enable my wireless but every time i would get a connection failed message. Also I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the wireless problem, but i cannot disable the wired connection either i get this message:

It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection may be using one or more protocols that support plug-and-play, or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account.

Much appreciation to anyone who can help, and if anyone needs more info on the subject let me know or you can email me at Grimlo@sc.rr.com or IM stzaloc@yahoo.com

Your post belongs in the Networking, wireless forum where all the experts hang out. It sounds like you did not set up the router/modem/card correctly. Explain exactly how you have it set up, what model router and wireless card, type of broadband connection, etc. and someone there will help.
