WME22-0QJ memory error code with SupportAssist scan

Just performed a system check scan with Support Assist. The memory portion of the test failed, generating a WME220QJ code for the Advanced Pattern test.

The error message read, "The pattern written (FEFEFEFEFEFEFEFE) did not match the pattern read (FEFEFEFEFEFEEEFE) at the physical address (00000006CF549460). The pattern difference was: 0000000000001000."

After rebooting the computer I ran the memory test separately, and the test passed.

I have a Dell Precision M4700 (mid 2012) with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3840QM CPU with 32 GB of RAM, 250 GB SSD and 750 GB HDD, Windows 7 Professional (64-bit).

Any ideas why the memory test fails on the system scan?

Hi,

I would suggest you remove and reseat the memory on the system. Please run the diagnostics on the computer by following the steps mentioned in the video below and check if there is any issue with the memory on your system.

Also, I would suggest you to run a thorough test on the memory again using Support Assist.

Please let me know the findings.

I got a different error from the same Advanced Pattern Test on a Precision M6500.
My error code WME22-0FG

It's hard to get the entire error message because there are no scroll bars and the mouse can't be used for copying.  Fortunately the maximize button works and the error message fits in the maximized window.

The error message is in Japanese but I'll translate it here.

"The pattern written (8888888888888888) did not match the pattern read (8888888888880888) at the physical address (000000001A07FC70). The pattern difference was: 0000000000008000."

Three of the memory boards are Crucial CT102464BF160B.T16 manufactured in 2014.
One is Crucial CT102465BF160B.C16 without a manufacturing date.

... Now I've also run a BIOS test.  That only tested what the BIOS has.  I bought the PC used and the hard drive didn't have an OEM diagnostic partition.

If I understood correctly, the BIOS has two standard memory tests and a lot of advanced tests.  The advanced tests were estimated to take 30 minutes but actually took a few hours.

I think the first standard BIOS test passed, the second one failed, and then all of the advanced tests succeeded.

I think the following came from the second standard test.
Error code 0123.
Msg: Error Code 2000-0123
Msg: Memory-integrity test failed.

So I probably have one RAM chip with an intermittent error.

Is there some way to find which of the four RAM boards has that intermittent error?
