XPS 14 - Wifi issue
I've had my xps 14 for around 2 months now and never had it out of my room. (Next to the router).
I've only just became aware though of the shocking wifi connection I get when further than 10 ft from the router. I tested various locations around the house with a variety of gadgets, phone, other laptops 3 in total, kindle etc. They all held a good connection apart from the xps. It is now unusable as I don't stay next to the router nor should I be expected to sit next to the router to maintain a decent connection.
I've googled and sadly it appears to be a recurring issue with the machine, joy.
I've amended power modes as suggested on this forum, removed mcafee, firewalls etc. The problem is the wireless card. I tested a wireless dongle with the machine and it holds a good connection. This however is not the long term fix I'm after.
I don't have a home phone to phone the dell customer support and can't really afford to phone tech support. Is it possible to log a support call online/email or request a callback?

Sorry I forgot to add I've also updated drivers as others have suggested to those facing similar issues.
Can a mod please edit the title to "XPS 14 - Wifi issue" I cant find the edit button if there even is one?

pmcc86,
Did you try to Contact Dell Technical Support and use their online chat support?

I would love to do so if I could figure out how to do so. Link above doesn't work (UK).
